What Makes Visual Theory Stand Out

Updated: Aug 11, 2023

Thanks for stopping by our blog. If you’re looking for more information about Visual Theory, you’ve come to the right place.

About Visual Theory

Visual Theory is a film production company that focuses on captivating cinematic imagery to help tell stories from all walks of life. We use industry-standard 4K cameras and drones to create the highest quality videos and films. Though we are a small production company, we have big aspirations, towards which we work, day in and day out, to help become a reality.

Being in business for over eight years now, we still consider the company to be in a state of growth. It’s taken a while to get all the right tools and the right team together. After much trial and error in figuring out what works best for us, we’re ready and truly believe that now is the time for this company to shine.

Visual Theory is set up in Winnipeg, Manitoba and is operational throughout the year, six days a week from Sunday to Friday. But we seem to be busiest in the summer. We find that after winter, once the snow begins to melt, people are more willing to get things done and we’re happy to oblige! We even have clients coming over from Vancouver and Toronto eager to collaborate. With growth like this, we’re certainly headed in the right direction.

The Visual Theory Difference

Visual Theory is passionate about building strong business relationships that are advantageous to both the client and us. It’s because of this relationship that we can create mind-blowing video content. Being in this industry for a while now, we’re never really sure of what to expect. We could be asked to shoot a small promotional clip one day or something more complex the next.

The results speak for themselves when something we have done has helped a business grow or helped someone gain exposure. Whatever the case may be, our production company has something very special to offer.

Last year was a challenging year for us in that we had to turn down a $76,000 budget to film a documentary about the history of the oil industry in Alberta. Simply put, our morals were being tested at the time. But we had to do what was right. Although it was a big opportunity lost; we have a clear conscience. Even though certain things didn't work the way we planned, we still are moving forward with the many project ideas that will come to pass.

Visual Theory is now going beyond local borders and connecting with people outside of Winnipeg, which can only mean more opportunity and growth. This gives us hope that our milestone achievement is right around the corner. We have big ideas and big plans that we believe will become a reality.
